I’m Thierry Oliver, AKA Mostrando Ilegal; I’m a Swiss-Mexican lettering and graffiti artist based in Lucerne, Switzerland. With a name that translates to “Showcasing the illegal,” Mostrando Ilegal aims to demonstrate that graffiti and street art can transcend their origins and belong in the world of fine art.
His journey as an artist began at a young age, starting with drawing and calligraphy lessons in school. By the age of 14, he began painting graffiti on the streets, and at 24, he started exploring other types of lettering. Throughout his artistic development, he has remained fascinated by traditional calligraphy and its rich history.
